Reviews of these two companies describe two different ways of keeping you in the loop. Tempus Logix keeps contact frequent and sends lots of updates. Fisher Shipping relies on one rep who stays with you from booking to delivery.
Tempus Logix: Frequent Calls, Texts, and a Status Tool
Communication comes up again and again in Tempus Logix reviews. On ConsumerAffairs, one customer wrote, "They called and texted regularly." Another said the reps "were constantly in contact with me so that I knew where the car was."
Tempus also has an online shipment status tool. ConsumerAffairs says it shows whether a carrier has been booked, plus estimated pickup and delivery dates. If you like checking on your car yourself, that matters.
The weak spot is the handoff to the driver. One reviewer said the driver called the wrong number, texted his wife at 4 a.m., and then showed up hours before the business opened. Another mentioned a language barrier with the driver. Tempus replied publicly and said it would "continue to work on improving" communication with all parties.
That pattern fits how a broker works. Tempus controls its own office staff. It doesn't fully control every carrier's driver.
Fisher Shipping: One Rep Who Knows Your Name
Fisher Shipping reviews read differently. Customers name their reps directly: Sue, Habib, Connor, CeCe.
One Transport Reviews customer said he'd worked with Sue "for at least the last 3 years." Another said Connor was "responsive and patient when pelted with inane questions" during a first-time cross-country car shipping move.
The best example is on BBB. A customer ordered a 2025 Bronco in November 2024. Fisher "stayed in constant contact" for roughly 9 months while the truck was being built, then sent an updated quote once it was ready. Another reviewer summed up the phone calls in four words: "Like the old days."
Fisher has one sharp negative, though. A 1-star BBB review from November 2025 says notes the customer asked for were left off the contract. It also says the rep turned "short, hostile and arrogant" and the car was picked up before a signed contract was in place. The car arrived without damage. Still, it's one serious account, and you should read it before booking.
Where They Differ
Tempus feels like a group chat that keeps buzzing with updates. Fisher feels like a phone call with someone who remembers your last shipment.
One limit to keep in mind: the sample sizes aren't close. Fisher has 23 BBB reviews (4.83 average) and only 6 on Transport Reviews in the last 2 years. Tempus has hundreds across platforms. So Fisher's results rest on far fewer voices.
